Normalize Self-Care In Your Routine Like This:
Deep inhale, hold it for a second, and then exhale.
This blog, we’re going to talk about the important things — aka, you.
Self-care is one of the most important elements when it comes to leading a genuinely healthy, happy and powerful lifestyle. Unfortunately, sometimes we get so busy that we forget to nurture the most important part of ourselves and today, we decided a little reminder wouldn’t hurt.
Here are 4 steps you can easily incorporate into your favorite routine to help make your days go by a little more smoothly and way more zen.
1. Take Epsom salt baths
Epsom salt does incredible things for your body. From easing pain, to charging negative ions, it’s got you better than anything does.
2. Take 5 minutes to close your eyes and meditate
Meditation has proven itself in science to be incredibly beneficial time and time again. Letting your mind find peace in all of the chaos that is daily life is pretty necessary for happiness and success. Try it, and let us know how you feel in two weeks. Trust me, it’s a thing. Worth every second.
3. Eat breakfast
I know, I know. It’s hard. But breakfast gives your metabolism a jump start
And gets you prepared for the energy you’re about to exert into every task and goal you have to complete that day. Even if it’s just a granola bar and an apple - it’ll help. It’s so simple that it doesn’t even sound real, but we promise, it is very real.
4. Set your phone on ‘DND’ while you sleep
Not only does Do Not Disturb mode on your phone help you get a restful, uninterrupted night of sleep, it also benefits you to leave it on do not disturb as you wake up and get ready. Instantly crowding your thoughts with the needs and desires of other people who have texted, called or emailed is really stressful and doesn’t give your brain any time to ease into action before it starts to feel sick of the day, already.
We love and care deeply for all of you. This winter is going to be amazing, because you’re going to feel even better. You’re worth it. Take care of your body. You only have one. Xoxo
